LIVE COSTA RICA
SANTA TERESA
This place which is called almost interchangeably Mal Pais or Santa Teresa depending on who you are speaking with is truly beautiful. Some call it the end of the end of the road and in many ways they are right, but really that is just where it all begins for many others too. Of course this place is brimming over with sun and surf and beautiful white sand but there is so much more here now. Travelers used to sleep under the coconut trees and pull fish out of the ocean for dinner, but there are nice accommodations available these days, good restaurants, tons of activities, including yoga retreats, organic markets, surfing schools and even spas.
All that is nice and it has helped make the place a more comfortable, international destination but in time one inevitably see’s that the real magic that pulses the life here is in a colorful mix between the beautiful nature and the people.
